Call for New County Leaders!

Our Washington County Convention will be Saturday, April 15 from 10:00 am - 11:30 am at Bartlesville Public Library downstairs meeting room.

This is when we will elect new leadership including Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Affirmative Action, and Precinct Officers.

We need new officers for our committee positions to continue the progress the party has made in recent years.

Some accomplishments of current leadership:

- Increased visiblity in the community
- Monthly meetings with informative speakers, good turnouts

- Multiple candidate events and forums
- Democratic Party HQ

- Booths at Sunfest, FreedomFest, Pride, Washington Co Free Fair

Unfortunately, many counties are inactive, without an organized party - such as Osage County and Nowata County.

Without people willing to help out by becoming county officers — that could happen here in Washington County!

To keep building a strong local Democratic Party it will require many people willing to step up and work together. The work is rewarding. And the current officers will help new officers with a smooth transition.

For information about committee positions, please contact an officer or contact OK Democratic Party at (405) 427-3366. You can also learn more about the Oklahoma Democratic Party structure, officers' duties and responsibilities, and the rules that direct the Party at okdemocrats.org/odp-rules.
